Music

Music is considered an integral part of worship. Organ music is provided at both services. There is no organized choir at the 7:30 AM service, but singers are encouraged to sit in the choir loft and help lead the hymns. A choir for the 10:30 AM services rehearses at 9 AM each Sunday and provides special music for that service. Anyone who enjoys singing is encouraged to join the choir. Several changes in the rehearsal room greatly improve the rehearsal process: Joe Schwork, Dick White, and Bill Wendel designed and constructed risers that provide for distinct levels that allow the singers to see the conductor clearly. The lighting has been improved and a storage cabinet for expanding the music library was added. We anticipate a larger choir involving teens and early adult generations with a wider range of tastes.
